Based on our knowledge of more than 25 years we construct winecellars and tailor-made wrought iron products either according to your plans or we suggest solutions which fit your expectations.

The company was founded in 1984 by Friedrich Gruber with the aim of constructing high quality custom homes. Soon after 1984 the lifelong passion for historic vaults and wine were brought together with the purpose to develop premium winecellars.

Our work area encompasses three major business units: the construction of vaulted cellars with limestone and antique bricks from the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy, the trading with historic materials as well as the production of wrought iron design work in its uttermost perfection.

We offer multifaceted custom winecellars to fit any requirement. All forms of vaults can be built into existing rooms. Personal collections of several hundred bottles or large private collections in excess of 45,000 bottles around the world have all benefited from our personal service, outstanding craftmanship, and attention to quality.

Adding a bit of history to your home

We only use historic material for the construction of our wine cellars.

• Our bricks originate from the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy and were manufactured between 1819 and 1918. They are carefully reclaimed and cleaned, stone by stone.
  
• The floors, made of wood, stone, or tile stones usually originate from churches and castles and are also between 200 and 300 years old.
  
• The roof tiles origin from Austrian and from Spain, carrying more than 100 years of history on them.
  
• The limestone is obtained from historical sites where wine culture originated – Bordeaux, Italy and Greece.
